About Scott:

Scott is a leader, trainer, and coach. His decades of experience leading and operating in complex organizations and environments fuel his passion for helping others achieve their full potential.

  He can adapt his style to meet his audience’s knowledge, experience, and background and has a wealth of experience connecting with people from all generations and cultural backgrounds.

  During his 34 year Army career, Scott held numerous leadership positions where he honed his leadership, training, coaching, and mentoring skills. Some of Scott’s most notable assignments include the 75th Ranger Regiment and the 101st Airborne Division. His final assignment was as the Command Sergeant Major of the U.S. Army Forces Command, the Army’s largest command responsible for more than 700,000 soldiers representing scores of career fields and occupational specialties.

 After retiring from the Army, Scott became the National Director of a nonprofit organization focused on physical and emotional fitness for veterans and first responders. Scott has also worked as the director of training and business development for a training and simulation company.

  He is the author of Behind the Colors: Where NCO Leadership Lives, a book about practical leadership and the skills needed to lead and develop at each leadership level across an Army career.

Scott earned a bachelor of arts in social science from Thomas Edison State College. He is committed to fitness and enjoys resistance training, golf, and cycling.

 He enjoys consulting because it allows him to work with a variety of people and professions including: Construction, Manufacturing, Finance, and Insurance. He enjoys working with companies interested in growing both people and revenue.

 Scott lives in Charlotte, NC.
